SIMONSBERG - PAARL

Simonsberg straddles Stellenbosch and Paarl and, as such, combines elements of both wine regions. We first started collaborating with a premium red wine producer at the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain, to produce our maiden release, the award-winning Terrabosch Ultima 2020.

The appellation is versatile and varied and is known to produce high quality Bordeaux and Southern Rhone grape varieties with great intensity and character.

HELDERBERG - stellenbosch

The Helderberg lies due south from Stellenbosch and extends to the shore of False Bay. Its dominant mountainscape gives the region the appearance of an amphitheatre, with the valley dropping away from the curve of the Hottentots Holland range.

The region’s proximity to the ocean makes it markedly cooler than areas deeper inland. These characteristics are to thank for the maritime influence that local wine grapes thrive in.

Our Terrabosch Continuum 2021 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot is from this appellation.

overberg - western cape

The Overberg is a vast district of the Western Cape of South Africa. It takes its name from its location in relation to Cape Town: over the Hottentot-Holland Mountains (over the berg). It is at foothills of Shaw’s Mountain pass, the gateway into the hemel en aarde valley, on your way to Hermanus, where our Gabrielle Jordan by Terrabosch Pinot Noir is produced, with the cool climate presenting perfect conditions for this varietal.

Devonvalley, Stellenbosch

We farm 5000 olive trees consisting of 6 different cultivars, on a 12ha leased property in Stellenbosch. At this stage all our extra virgin olive oil is from olives produced on this property, surrounded by premium vineyards.
